Seventh Day Adventists who are you & what makes you peculiar? Why has God chosen you to be a royal priesthood? Each individual who calls Him or herself a seventh day Adventist & believes in Jesus Christ and His teachings is able to answer the questions posed. We have been blessed with the oracles of truth the truth that is essential for this time, the truth that will set people free from the bondage of sin, the truth that will prepare people for the second coming of our Lord & Savior Jesus Christ
'Revelation 14:6-10
6And I saw another angel fly in the midst of heaven, having the everlasting gospel to preach unto them that dwell on the earth, and to every nation, and kindred, and tongue, and people,
We are Angel’s messengers of God. We have the everlasting gospel to preach. Gospel the proclamation of the redemption preached by Jesus and the Apostles, which is the central content of Christian revelation. We also have to practice what we preach & our hearts have to be sanctified in order to be an effective messenger of God. We are to lift Jesus up at all times by our lifestyle & He will draw all men unto Him.
7Saying with a loud voice, Fear God, and give glory to him; for the hour of his judgment is come: and worship him that made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and the fountains of waters.
We are the only church that preaches that judgment is going on now. The books have been open since 1844 & Christ our High Priest is in the most holy place. Of all the Christian organizations we are the only one that understands the sanctuary message and the latter organization teach people that judgment will happen at the second coming of Christ. Thus when our Lord comes many will not be prepared. Our name is a standing rebuke to all the other denominations because we teach people to observe all ten of the commandments especially the fourth. Worship him that made heaven & earth, worship the Lord of the Sabbath. Sabbath the seventh day Saturday to show allegiance to the deity called Yahweh/ God.
8And there followed another angel, saying, Babylon is fallen, is fallen, that great city, because she made all nations drink of the wine of the wrath of her fornication.
Who is Babylon & what is her wine? Babylon is false or apostate religion. It’s a religion that contradicts or opposes the Word of God. John 1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The wine of the wrath of her fornication is her false doctrine and teachings. We are to have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them Ephesians5:11.
9And the third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, If any man worship the beast and his image, and receive his mark in his forehead, or in his hand,
Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thy self. Our love for Christ and fellow man should motivate us to warn the world of its pending doom. We cannot sit down and watch people perish. We are the watchmen and if people die we are held accountable for their blood if we don’t warn them Ezekiel 3:17-18.
10The same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of his indignation; and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb:
